This page explains how social login works on DC++ Hubs Directory – Public Hublist & Real-Time Hub Search if Google, Facebook, or another provider is enabled. Social login is optional unless the login page clearly says otherwise. You may also be able to create or access an account using email-based login, depending on the features available at the time.
1. What Social Login Does
Social login lets you sign in using an existing account from a provider such as Google or Facebook. When you choose social login, the provider authenticates you and sends DC++ Hubs Directory – Public Hublist & Real-Time Hub Search limited account information so the application can create, find, or connect your DC++ Hubs Directory – Public Hublist & Real-Time Hub Search account.
2. Information We May Request
Depending on the provider and configuration, DC++ Hubs Directory – Public Hublist & Real-Time Hub Search may request your provider account ID, name, email address, email verification status, and profile image. This information is used to authenticate you, prevent duplicate accounts, display account details, secure login, and provide account support.
3. Enabled Social Login Scopes
Provider-specific Google and Facebook permission scopes are intentionally omitted from this public page until the production scope list is finalized. Social login permissions, when enabled, are used only for authentication, account linking, account security, duplicate account prevention, and account support.
4. Information We Do Not Receive
DC++ Hubs Directory – Public Hublist & Real-Time Hub Search does not receive your Google, Facebook, or other social login password. It does not request access to post to your social account, private messages, friends list, contacts, photos, files, advertising account, or unrelated account data unless a future feature clearly asks for that access and you consent.
5. Account Linking
If the email address from your social login matches an existing DC++ Hubs Directory – Public Hublist & Real-Time Hub Search account, the application may link the social login to that account after appropriate verification. If no matching account exists, the application may create a new account using the information provided by the social login provider.
6. How We Use Social Login Data
DC++ Hubs Directory – Public Hublist & Real-Time Hub Search uses social login data only for authentication, account access, account security, fraud prevention, duplicate account prevention, support, and related service functions. DC++ Hubs Directory – Public Hublist & Real-Time Hub Search does not sell social login data.
7. Disconnecting Social Login
If account settings allow it, you may disconnect a social login provider from your DC++ Hubs Directory – Public Hublist & Real-Time Hub Search account. You may also revoke access through the provider account settings. Disconnecting social login may require you to set up another login method before you can continue accessing your account.
8. Deleting Social Login Data
You may request deletion of your DC++ Hubs Directory – Public Hublist & Real-Time Hub Search account and social login data by contacting hublist@pwiam.com or by using the support options published on the site. Include the email address connected to your account and the provider you used. The site administrator may need to verify your identity before completing the request.
9. Facebook Data Deletion Instructions
If you used Facebook Login, you may request deletion of data received from Facebook by emailing hublist@pwiam.com with the subject line "Facebook Login Data Deletion Request." The request will be reviewed in accordance with applicable law and the Privacy Policy. You may also remove DC++ Hubs Directory – Public Hublist & Real-Time Hub Search from your Facebook account's connected apps or business integrations settings.
10. Google Data Deletion Instructions
If you used Google Login, you may request deletion of data received from Google by emailing hublist@pwiam.com with the subject line "Google Login Data Deletion Request." You may also remove DC++ Hubs Directory – Public Hublist & Real-Time Hub Search access from your Google account's third-party app access settings.
11. Provider Policies
Google, Facebook, and other social login providers process your information under their own terms and privacy policies. Review the provider policies and account settings to understand how they handle authentication, cookies, profile data, and connected apps.
