Review public registration and network ownership records for the domain name or IP address behind a DC++ or Direct Connect hub.

Purpose

The tool queries public WHOIS sources and organizes registrar, nameserver, registration-date, network-range, organization, and operational-contact data when those fields are available.

When To Use It

  • Check who controls a domain before a DNS or hosting change.
  • Identify the network provider responsible for a public hub IP.
  • Find public registrar or abuse-contact context for an operational problem.

Reading The Results

Domain results describe the registrar and delegated nameservers. IP results describe the allocated address range and organization. Dates and contacts vary by registry, so use the labeled sections and raw response together.

Limitations

WHOIS is ownership context, not proof that a DC++ hub is online or controlled by a particular person. Privacy services can hide registrant details, registry data can be stale, and formats differ between domain and address registries.
