List Your Direct Connect Hub
This page lets verified hub owners submit a public NMDC, NMDCS, ADC, or ADCS hub to Public DC Hublist. After submission, the hublist pinger checks the address, reads the public hub information, and prepares the listing for search results and downloadable hublist files.
Use this form when you operate a public DC++ or Direct Connect community and want people to find it through the website, DC++ client hublist downloads, country lists, and protocol-specific hublist files.
Before You Submit
A good listing starts with a reachable hub address. Enter only the hostname or public IP address, choose the correct protocol, and provide the listening port your hub software actually uses. If your hub supports TLS, select the secure protocol only when users can connect through that secure endpoint.
- Use a public address: private, local, or temporary LAN addresses cannot be indexed reliably.
- Keep the hub online: offline hubs can be added, but they become useful only after the pinger can read their public information.
- Choose the right country: leave the country blank if you want the application to detect it from the hub IP address.
- Publish clear hub information: your hub name, description, topic, software, users, share size, and rules help visitors decide whether to join.
What Happens After Submission
New hubs are checked by the hourly pinger. When the hub responds, the application imports its current status, users, share size, reliability, hub requirements, and public metadata. The hub can then appear in hub search, generated XML, JSON, BZ2, and config hublist files, and protocol or country-specific listings.
If the first ping fails, the hub is not lost. You can review the hub profile later, force a ping as an owner or administrator, and use tools such as Hub Ping and DNS Overview to diagnose reachability.
